Thank God for Lulusplendor on Etsy

She is creating wonderful pieces for my bridesmaids and myself. I highly recommend her site!

To continue the peacock feather motif she is creating these hair clips for my lovely ladies....

Flower Child

FYI, I'm going to have the most adorable children as my flower girls and ring bearers. Jon's twin niece and nephew will be our flower girl and ring bearer along with my Cousin's son Zach and my other Cousin's daughter Delilah, here are pics of her...

Lame people

A. I would never put a bumper sticker on my car unless it was the Barbie one...

B. I love meat, respect people who don't, have a lot of friends that are veggies and vegans, but come on....

If it has a face, and I'm above it on the food chain, MARINADE IT AND BBQ IT BABY!

It will always be Sears Tower to me...

I'm sure a lot of "windy" Chicagoans will be refusing to call the Sears Tower the Willis Tower. Their new little Skydeck boxes are an amazing architectural feat and are scary as well to step on to! I had to practically push my mom on to it. But it is an exhilarating feeling stepping on to it...

Wedding Invites

I was cursing myself for undertaking creating my own invites, but I did have a bit of time on my hands and I did work for a design shop for 4 years, so I better be able to create my own invites, AND I DID!!! They are printing as we speak and my lovely fiance cut them all day today and this weekend they will be assembled, awaiting the arrival of the final pieces, but here is a sneak peak....original design thanks to my minimal illustrator skills and the wonderful font help of my ex-DK co-workers, my love for peacock feathers which has apparently taken over the wedding scheme world, and my love for all things art deco/Great Gatsby (the official theme of my wedding)...

LAID OFF...AND LANDING BACK ON YOUR FEET

Much has happened since my last blog, the biggest change was me leaving DK. It was hard news to take, them letting me go, but after a road trip with my mom and sis, hosting family visiting from CA and a week off to get wedding stuff done I brushed off the old resume and got a new website up and started selling myself as producer extraordinaire! I've had a few great meetings and it's been really exciting learning about all the companies out there and what they do...I do miss my dear friends at DK, but it's time to move forward....

Here is a link to my website which showcases projects I worked on at DK.
