Dana & Coby's Wedding Rehearsal Slideshow
I was so honored when my college roommate asked me to be a bridesmaid in her Hawaiian wedding! I was even more thrilled when she asked me to put together the slideshow for their rehearsal dinner, held at the lovely Pacific Club in Honolulu. I enjoyed getting a glimpse in to Dana and Coby's travel adventures and their sweet childhood memories and hope their family and friends did too!

Wedding Film on Super8mm
A good friend of Jon and mine and a regular from the Brownstone, Heather Brown, surprised us and shot some great Super8 film at the church after our ceremony. It was so nice to see the lovely faces of all our friends and family who shared in our special day. Thanks Heather!

Wedding Stuff and Things
Hello Friends,
Thank you for visiting my site, I hope you find it useful and inspiring. I truly enjoyed all my DIY projects that I did for my wedding and would love to help others make their wedding special and unique. I can sit with you to customize every detail of your wedding and help bring it to life through your Save-the-Dates, and Invitations, through your place cards and favors. I can also shoot and edit your big day and help capture all the special moments that you can share with friends and family. Please take a look at my work and contact me if you have any questions or requests.
Time line of a wedding...
"Will you?"
"Yes"
"You want to invite HOW many?"
"What the hell are engagement photos?"
"Invites cost what???"
"Videography costs what???"
"I need help, I'm going to call Erica!"
...and that's where I step in.
Save-The-Dates:
Not a necessary step in the process but most definitely a great way to kick off your wedding "vibe." What your style is, and what guests can expect, it definitely gets people excited. I found a template online and customized it for myself. I used our engagement photos (another unnecessary step, but most engagement sessions already come "included" in your photographer's package, and it's a great way for you, your fiance and your photog to get to know one another).
Invitations
As you'll notice I went with a peacock motif, and also tried to incorporate a "Great Gatsby"/Art Deco style to all my stationary and decor throughout the reception. Something as simple as a peacock feather can translate throughout your whole wedding, from the invites, to the reception decor.
Invitations are all original designs.
Programs and Place Cards and Menus, Oh My!
I continued with the Peacock and Art Deco fonts throughout the rest of the stationary...
Wedding Video:
The wedding trailer can be fun, touching, but most importantly it can be a great way to depict all the key moments of your day without having to force family and friends (and your new husband) to sit in front of a TV and watch the whole DVD, but I can make that also if you want it...it will be nice to watch it on your 20 year anniversary with your children no?
I did 2 separate trailers, because I could and I wanted to...

Wedding Photos Galore
So many wonderful shots were captured by our wonderful Photographer Pamela Luedeke. She just posted our proofs and we can't stop going through them.
Some of my favorite shots were taken in between the ceremony and the reception at the Museum of Science and Industry and the Osaka Gardens. The dance floor shots are great too...
Here's a little (well, it's 10 minutes long) slide show....

I'm not to shabby myself...
I also know my way around the kitchen. I've fallen in love with two new cookbooks I got from friends as wedding presents and can't wait to dive in.
First up: Parsnip Soup, Butter Lettuce Salad with Peach dressing.
Main course: A page out of Sunny Anderson's book...Pork Chops with an Apple Cider and Onion Gravy with Roasted Potatoes.
And it was all possible with my favorite kitchen item, my Lodge dutch oven, I could cook everything in here!
Oh dutch oven, how I love thee...
